concerts are planned events

Drama production

The Yosemite High School Drama Department, under the direction of Scott Evans, is currently presenting its fall production, 12 Angry Jurors. The play continues Saturday, December 8; Thursday, December 20 and Friday, December 21. A tentative production has been scheduled Friday, December 7, pending football playoffs.

The house opens for seating at 7:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8. General admission to all shows is $3 for students and $5 for non-students.

Winter concerts

All choirs and bands from the Yosemite High School Music Department will be in concert Thursday and Friday, December 13 and 14.

The December 13 concert is at 7 p.m. at Yosemite Lakes Community Church. The December 14 concert is at 7 p.m. at Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church.

Tickets are available from YHS music students or at Dorsey’s Hallmark or Oakhurst Frameworks for a donation.

Winter Formal

The Yosemite High School Winter Formal will be held December 15 from 8 p.m. to midnight in the school’s new cafeteria. This year’s theme is “In the Moment.”

Tickets for couples for the dance are $25 with an ASB card and $35 without a card. For singles, cost is $12.50 with an ASB card and $17.50 without a card.

Larson Brothers will take photographs. Music will be by disc jockey Munroe.
