The YHS Career
Center recently hosted a Job Fair at the school. Local employers came
to the campus to meet with students and accept job applications for
summer employment. Pictured above, Matt Lamont meets with Gary Moore

Carol Flores
Deaver (left) and her brother, Ron Flores, owners of Florestone Products,
Co., Inc. in Madera recently donated $5000 to the Yosemite Joint Union
High School District to help pay for the swimming pool currently under
construction. YJUHSD Board President Priscilla Pike (right) accepted
the check on behalf of the district at a recent board meeting.

The Evergreen
High Student Body Fund became $400 richer recently when senior Karisa
Owens donated the money she raised for her Senior Project. She decorated
and sold a Christmas Tree at the annual auction and donated the proceeds
to the student body fund which is used for field trips, activities
and graduation. She also has the option of designating it for a special
project. Dennis Otterson accepted the check for EHS.
