Students from Valerie Porter’s third grade class at Coarsegold Elementary School and from the Yosemite High School International Baccalaureate Psychology class and the Advanced Placement European History class recently got together for tea at the Yosemite High School Library. The “proper ladies’ tea” was the culmination of a unit on National Women’s History Month by the students. Each student gave a presentation honoring a woman and created a bulletin board with paper hats and teapots for each “lady present.” Guests were invited from both school districts to join the students and their teachers for tea.
