The Yosemite Joint Union High School District and the Coarsegold Union School District both have comprehensive Web sites that showcase student activities and a wealth of district information.

“Information is so vital,” comments Bill McCabe, superintendent of both districts, “we have made it a priority to present information to our parents in as many ways as possible.”

Judy Durr is the Web master for both districts. She updates the sites on a daily basis, if needed, and is continually adding more information. Most recently, the School Accountability Report Cards (SARCs) for all of the schools in the YJUHSD have been added. Those documents are also available on the CUSD site for schools in that district.

“A very nice feature of our sites is that you can do a Google search of each site,” Mr. McCabe says. At the bottom of each home page, there is an area to search just the district site. “This may be the most efficient way to find a topic of interest,” he adds.
