Coarsegold Elementary School PTA members are planning the 8th annual Country
Fair on April 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grassy upper field of the
school campus.
This year’s fair will include jousting, bounce house, plinko, treasure
hunt, obstacle course, mystery mush, cake walk, basketball toss game booths,
craft booths, cake walk, and cupcake decorating.
There will be a silent auction with donated items including art, tickets
and gift passes, gift certificates and more. All proceeds from the silent
auction will go towards new K-5 playground equipment and a shade cover,
trees, benches and tables for the grades 6-8 students.
There will be prize drawings every half hour - you need not be present
to win. Prizes for the drawing include one night’s stay at the Pines Resort,
Island Water Park passes, Bass Lake party barge, Yosemite Sugar Pine Railroad
passes, plus more. Drawing ticket cost is $1 and tickets are available
at the school office or the day of the fair.
Food will be available, including barbequed hamburgers, Indian tacos,
hot dogs, snow cones, a variety of snacks, or bring a picnic. Entertainment
will include local musicians and dancers.
