Coarsegold trustee sought for Yosemite

The Yosemite Joint Union High School District Board of Trustees will be accepting applications for fill the Coarsegold seat on that board.

David Hartesveldt, who has represented Coarsegold on the board since December 1996, resigned at the June 19 meeting because he is moving out of the Coarsegold area.

Residents of the Coarse-gold area can submit an application to the board to be considered for appointment to the board to serve out Mr. Hartesveldt’s term which will end in 2004.

Applicants will be screened and interviewed at the August board meeting and the new trustee will be appointed at that time.

“David was a valued Board member and will be sorely missed within our organization,” commented Bill McCabe, YJUHSD superintendent.
Mr. Hartesveldt attended his last meeting of the YJUHSD Board June 19. He said he had enjoyed his time on the board immensely.
