As the weather warms up and kids’ interests shift from multiplication
tables to swimming and hiking, I would like to remind parents that school
is not out for summer. Kids need learning activities all year round and
summer is an opportunity to get outside and explore our world. Parents
are the most influential teachers. Help your child this summer by giving
them your time. Providing enriching activities that will stimulate them
and prepare them for school next year is the best gift that you can ever
give your child.
