Anaheim Music Festival
May 22-23, 2004

The Concert Choir, the newest of the YHS choral groups, came home from the festival with a silver medal, with an average score of 85 out of 100 points. The Treble Ensemble also earned a silver medal with 88 out of 100. The Chamber Singers earned first place and a gold medal.

The only ensembles invited to national competition are those that score more than 92 points.

One of the festival judges, Dr. Jocelyn Jensen, wrote of the Chamber Singers’ performance, “Your performance was breathtaking. I loved the beauty of your phrase shaping. Incredibly uplifting work!”
