Getting
into shape
Official
practice began on the first day of school in August, but coach Ellen Peterson
emphasized the importance of getting into shape in the summer months by hiking,
jogging and running.
All paper
work is available at the District Office and should be completed, along with
proof of a physician’s clearance, as soon as possible.
Cross
country actively recruited all interested athletes through the first two weeks
of school and encouraged anyone who is interested in cross country to come out.
“We will
continue to add teams as the number of athletes dictate. We would love to continue our tradition of
large, enthusiastic turnouts with depth in all areas,” says coach Peterson.
For
further information about the cross country program, coach Peterson can be
contacted at 683-2474.
